343 even messed up at CSR.
They implemented a rank lock system where if you lose multiple games in a row in that playlist your stuck at that rank forever. lol343 someone should make a meme out of their shittyness. Also it's broken, you can lose games and your rank will go up. AND there's no way to check your individual playlist rank you can only see your highest.

CSR is on a bell curve, so you're going to be placed where you belong after a time. But before that time, everyone needs to settle into legitimate ranks before any bell curve can be properly established. Hence why some people already have a 50, and others don't. No one has a legit 50 yet, because not enough games have been played world wide. Each playlist also has different criteria, such as CTF being win/loss, and Slayer being k/d. You for example are probably not rank locked, you just suck in those playlist given their criteria, on top of the dust having not settled on the system yet. And you can lose a game of Slayer and still go up because that's a k/d thing. Think of CSR as your Halo IQ. You get a score that represents your "IQ" in that playlist and leave. Increasing that score will take far longer and harder work than a linear progression system. This is also why some people have been dropped into numbers higher than 1 after several games (on top of the curve not evening out yet), because in a system using an IQ-esque bell curve, you don't go from handicapped to savant over years of work. You are what you are, you either suck or you don't.

343 so far have given us shoddy copies of Bungie features, I still prefer Halo 4 to Reach. But I do not consider it as a progression from Halo 3.

10 RepliesLast I checked losing games in Halo 3 made me go up because it scored you on personal k/d not team. If you got 50 kills and 30 deaths but came 2nd you would still go up in rank. illogical hate is illogical.

Individual scoring for some playlists, win/loss for others. That's how it works.

2 RepliesThey take so long to give something out. During that time they don't do anything, by that they don't test things like they should be. When the X mark was coming back, everyone thought it would be similar to previous Halo's. Where everyone could see if you died and where you died. Now 343i adds the thing, and guess what, it disappears in less than 2 seconds, it's not VISIBLE, you don't know where you teammate died, you don't have a clear view of it. And the color doesn't represent danger or death. This tells you how they "test" things. Now with their CSR, I don't care about it, I won't go everytime to waypoint just to check how I do. I don't do it, why now? I've visited like 3 times this year waypoint.

I just don't see how hard it was to add a rank system. I'm not dying for it, but it would be a feature I would like to actually have. Little late now isn't it? Over 75% of Halo 4's are not going to come back now.

Yeah I don't understand why they are making the decisions they are. No visible rank system is what the fans want along with balance for gods sake. The population speaks for itself, I enjoy the game but not as much as the past Halo games. I trusted 343 with my favorite game franchise and they have left me unimpressed.
