We all were Noble 6 and with Destiny we will be 100% our own. That's what he was getting at I think.

I think he was referring to the main protagonist, Master Chief. He was always this badass guy. You weren't able to choose for the Chief to be a badass girl.

To be fair, Staten started working on Destiny "rumored" right after Halo 3 launched. So, perhaps it could be he simply just doesn't remember >.>

It probably slipped his mind at the time or is just so insignificant compared to the system in Destiny that it didn't matter. But yeah, I don't remember seeing him in a lot of Reach related hands, which is great for Destiny because of the fantastic job he did with ODST.

They should slow down with theses choices, Male or Female? That's pretty heavy stuff.

There should be a unisex with a uniclass, a uniweapon/uniability, and a univehicle, along with a unifaction. It's too hard to choose what to choose, so I prefer to be forced not to choose.
