What does cryosleep Master Chief's face look like? This is the first time in the games where we get a small glimpse of his face. So there's nothing else to compare it to. Also he seen continues action from waking up until going back to Earth. So that would put a strain on him. And also The Librarian did something to him. Both of those things could have changed him.

what the librarian did was genetic i dont believe that physical apearance would have been changed at all

sombody else did point that out the stress of the near constant battle over the several years could have affected him but spartans were basically trained to handle that stress along with body mutations and unmatchable training programs and he wears the spartan armor that probably has a mild amount of some sort of moisturizer agent that would protect his skin and keep it conditioned ([u][/u]THE LOTION IS EVERYWHERE)
