You're paying attention to the detail? I was too busy wondering how the hell this was a reward for completing the Campaign on Legendary.
Fortunately, Mark VI armor quelled my rage... of course, I was still raging because I didn't realize I had to do the levels ONLINE. :/ When will armor unlocks be associated with achievements again?!

people have wanted to see his face forever and now they have it didnt reveal much though so there is still a want to see his actual face

I suppose it was a tease that we might see more of a glimpse but I really could care less. What I wanted to see was more battles, more locations, more factions, etc.
