nah, check out OXM this month, it tells the same story the old IGN article did, but it says before going out he meets up with his friend who plays a Titan and who was wearing his new Vanguard [u]armor[/u].

That supports my theory that the Vanguard is a sort of special group. I think this is a picture of a Vanguard wearing the Vanguard armor.

There is a thread that has proof that that armor is actually classed as "Legendary", or something like that.
