BTW, what did Bungie do last year? I remember Halo: Reach Chess and that's all the jokes I can recall.

Halo Reach Chess was 2010's joke, and 2011 featured the Pimps at Sea Facebook game pictured in the OP. In 2012, however, DeeJ explained the lack of a joke on their being in the dark, as it would be too cruel to taunt the public with the fake reveal of their new game.

2011 was also actually releasing chess for Reach.
