I think the whole Master Chief handicap meme going around today aptly fits parts of what they did to the campaign. I still enjoyed it, but things like this and the other button pushing scenarios just didn't seem to fit.

and yet walking around with doors everywhere opening for you and things activating in cutscenes where awesome to right? At least pressing the buttons let you do something other than run, jump and shoot.

Doors shouldn't take so long to open and they shouldn't automatically close behind us all the time. The cinematic experiences were a lot better than the QTEs. On Forerunner, if you turn on Black Eye skull, the Knight that jumps on top of you actually shoots you to stop the recharge. That's what should have been done with the QTEs. They should have differed or not be there on higher difficulties. QTEs only hinder replayability.

They did not seem appropriate for a Halo game. It reminded me of the button mashing of The Force Unleashed. The final 'battle' with the Didact was very disappointing for the same reason.

I wasn't to bothered with that if im honest.
