I'm all for stronger and more background checks. Is it a bit of a hassle? Sure - but even if it only stops a handful of the wrong people from getting a gun, it is better than nothing.

Except they really don't do anything. That, and Universal Background checks, or at least the current proposed bill is pretty much registration.

it's just disguised registration. and Canada abolished their long arm registry because it was useless and overly costly. it didn't help solve crime. all it really does is further reduce privacy rights.
