Hi, I'm Steph.
I've been drawing (and writing) for about four - five years now when I moved for the fifth time. I began with anime/manga style and have branched into more realistic styles. I prefer drawing with pencil but have recently begun branching out into chalk pastel as well as clay. I have just begun my first art class and am hoping to incorporate various styles into my work.

have any writing that you would like to share?

The only real Destiny related piece I have is a short, little prologue I wrote in my math class one day when I was bored. I was gonna wait for some more information on Destiny before I actually continued with the story but I guess sharing what I have so far wouldn't hurt too much. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1reTl2_YHbHdTp_fhfPSBwFLQ8V_0RaJ-cH4oi-Yamuw/edit

two things, one I have my own story too if you want to take a look. Two, the doc is locked lolz.
-
lol sure :) I don't mind reading it. I'm a massive reader. And let me fix that...
-
cool =) hope you enjoy it.
-
I'm sure I shall. And, the link should be fixed now.
-
it is and I read it! the story line is solid but you use one word a bit too much. Other then that, it is good.

Edited by Rose: 4/20/2013 9:07:58 PMThank you, I shall go back and edit that soon. Your story is really good as well :) You kept me enthralled the entire way. May I suggest though that when you have a conversation between two or more people, when a different person speaks it should begin a new line. It's less confusing that way. Other than that it's excellent.

oh so THAT is what that one guy said. yeah I dont kow. I feels like a waste of space to me but I can do that.
-
Lol it took me a while to get used to it at first as well, but it pays off more in the long run. It's one of the long followed traditional standards of writing so it makes for less confusion during dialogues and such. I know it feels very wasteful but it looks better, in my opinion.

hhmm, I think I can change it around a bit then. As of right now, I would spend like a day or two just fixing that. I have like 40 pages of material right now.........=/

Oh wow, that's quite a lot. At least you're typing it, correct? I write mine out on pen and paper so when I first learned of the technique I had almost 10 pages with 350 words on each side that I had to go back and redo. It was a horror. I have faith in you though :)
-
well thank you =) personally, I like to write mine on paper as well. Im one of the few on the world that just DOESNT like to sit in front of a screen a lot. Im weird like that.
-
Edited by Rose: 4/20/2013 10:34:11 PMOh don't worry, I'm weird too. I can't stand sitting in front of a screen for too long, but I grew up sitting outside reading books and riding horses. So now there's TWO people that don't like sitting in front of a screen forever.
-
IM NOT THE ONLY ONE!!!!!!!!! I used to ride too but lately, there hasnt been the time. I miss it a lot.
-
YEA HIGH FIVE! I stopped riding when I moved, the sad life of a military child. It definitely was a great experience.
-
yeah I was lucky. My dad got out when I was born.

Edited by Cal Carlson: 4/20/2013 11:22:50 PMCan this conversation be moved to it's own post or private messages? :) I'm glad that you're taking introductions to the next level though!

lolz, sorry Cal.

Dang. My dad's been in it the entire 16 years of my life. Longest I've lived in a place is five years. That's where I rode. Now we're moving again this summer and he promises to get me riding again. The freedom of outside~
