Here's the problem: Half the country is basically brainwashed into believing the liberals are the problem and conservatives should be the only ones in charge, and the other half thinks vice versa. Total governmental reform is needed, but the mainstream media and the politicians have the majority of the sheep in the palm of their hands, playing them perfectly like puppets. If this was proposed, all that would happen is "THE LIBERALS ARE THE PROBLEM!" (my father, an avid Fox News fan) or "NO, THE REPUBLICANS ARE GREEDY WARMONGERS LOL".
