A better marker, strip down a Tippmann a5, build as indicated, if you can't do it all at once, do it in this order: Dual Trigger, E-grip(or response trigger), x7 hopper, quickfeed hopper top(not shown), squishy paddles, flatline barrel, drop foward expansion chamber. Replace crappy plastic parts as required(meaning, drop the marker, the cocking lever or something breaks) with aluminun. Buy a JT Proflex mask and other items as your discretion. Oh yeah, this used to be my marker, I sold it for 80$, I now carry two of these. That old a5 chewed up way to much paint for what I was doing.

Edited by A Forum Cop: 3/24/2013 10:16:31 PMYes, thank you for answering my question. And why would I do this, when I have my kaos, which is lighter, has a 12 inch barrel so it's accurate enough, and my friend's A5 is breaing every time we play, but that might be cuz he gets his CO2 tank filled for free by a sketchy guy behind the baloon stand at walmart.

Your friend probably doesn't take care of his gear(your running paint and CO2 through a complex machine with a large amount of moving parts), and that sketchy guy behind walmart doesn't help him either. I would recommend an electronic hopper.

Okay, TY for advice. And yeah, he tried to take care of it, but one time he forgot to put the o-rings when he was re-assembling it and ran CO2 through it, so that may have -blam!-ed it up.
