Sounds like a nerve-something to me. Origin in the spine that spreads to only the shoulders and above.
The problem is that to be pinched-nerve related, you'd have to have multiple pinched to hurt in both shoulders and the jaw.
Perhaps one of your vertebrae is pinching down on another, ultimately pinching multiple nerves?

This has been really interesting. Potentially very helpful. The hospital did take an x-ray though, and didn't see anything. Then again, it was really late and weren't taking me seriously.

I had pinched nerve for months because of a hairline fracture in a vertebrae that I didn't even know about until it was almost fully healed, so obviously it doesn't take much to irritate the nerve. It may not actually even be that bad.

What would you recommend then? Get another x-ray?
