One thing I would also like to ask is would you really consider them as a Human? Technically they are but I could see many people resenting clones for not being "real". Thoughts?

How exactly is a perfect clone of a human not a human? The assumption that they would not function off of the same cognitive processes, thus exhibit the same emotions and thoughts, as a "regular" human, is simply false. I would not resent anyone for being a clone.
-
Why wouldn't they be "real?"
-
Real as in not themselves...? Like they are just a copy of someone else.
-
Identical twins share the same DNA. Is one of two twins not "real," then?
-
Hmm... No both of them are real. What I mean to say is say you are cloned at the age you are now. Would the clone be the "real" you or just some copy made in a lab? Because only you can be the real you right? If that makes any sense.
-
The clone isn't supposed to be "you." A clone is his or her own person, only identical to you in every way. A clone doesn't share your memories or experiences, you are you and the clone is the clone.
-
Oh ok so basically you can think of your clone as an identical twin that is its own person with its own likes/dislike's that may or may not be the same as yours.
-
Yes. Experience is a large factor of what shapes your personality and mindset.

Well thanks so much for having the patience to answer my questions. I actually liked how we had a discussion and not an argument. I learned a lot for this thread so thank you to everyone who added discussion to the thread and sharing your viewpoints with the community.

It's sad how rare a good, polite discussion is around here. Thanks.

I don't see how individuality factors into determining whether an individual is "real" or not.
