Another thing to point out with these threads is the tossing around of the word "unnatural," which, as I perceive it, has zero inherent weight and is merely an arbitrary exclusion of human affairs from nature for zero rational causes. Exactly why is an ant colony creating an ant hill any more natural than a human village or city? Everything is "natural" in the sense that all occurrences are governed by natural laws and reasons, including whatever the hell humans decide to do in their laboratories. Clones would be no less natural than children born through sexual reproduction.

  • It's amazing how hard you try, yet how little you know.

Do you strive to say everything in a contemptuous, arrogant manner? Because speaking to you is downright unpleasant, and a lot of people suspect you of being a troll on account of your behavior. As opposed to forming vacant statements against my position, you could actually attempt to counter it.

  • A lot of people? I have yet to hear anyone accuse me of a being a troll. My point is your lack of understanding the difference between natural and artificial. If an organism is the product of genetic engineering, it's fairly obvious that the organism wasn't concieved by natural causes.

  • Why can't you just fir a little let him think he is proving someone wrong?

  • Because everything you tried to prove wrong is an opinion.

First, off, the statement, "X is unnatural" is an objective, not subjective, proposal. Describing a concept or affiliation as "unnatural" would imply it somehow goes against natural, physical laws, which cloning clearly doesn't for the reasons I just described. Human thoughts and affairs are fundamentally centered around physical laws, so any action we do is clearly not against nature. Second, opinions can be incorrect, or at least, very much so poorly-derived and unsubstantiated. So criticizing the opinion of another person on a subject is not some sort of argumentative taboo that people should feel the need to discourage. The only thing I argued against was the notion that there exist concepts that are, inherently, not "natural," which I feel I did a good job defending, and you've done a poor job critiquing. That is not an opinionated claim, it's a concept with a legitimate truth value that you can logically verify as incorrect.
