They're still pissed they lost in 1783, 1815, and the fact we had to come to their aid in 1941.

wait, you people in the US actually think you won the war of 1812 against us? we put your invasion to a halt, and burned down the -blam!-ing white house. in what way did the U.S. win the war?

Are you serious? Winning a couple skirmishes and burning a building do not mean you won a war. We do not pay any taxes to Britain last time I checked my W-2's. The US put the invasion to a halt, not Britain. The Treaty of Ghent, The Brits pretty much had to sign it because they could no longer take any losses. Napoleon was at their door. 'Britain had little to gain and much to lose from prolonged warfare.'

Did I say I was talking about the brits? I'm talking about canadians, we were the ones who held off the attack long enough for the higher ups to come back for support and the U.S. to get bored of fighting and stop the war., and the brits pulled out because napoleon was a greater threat than the U.S at the time I can agree with that. in all reality it was a victory on both sides because the U.S stayed independent, Canada realized it can't rely on GB to save them and they need independence, and GB stayed in power of canada for another 50 years.
