I have muted a few, hidden many posts, and reported a couple of things.
Let me say this - I LOVE being able to moderate my own experience on Bungie.net. If I don't want to look at this thread, I just hide it.
Things I would change as far as Moderation.
- I wish we could hide or mute certain tags. i.e. religion, politics. And anything with that tag would be hidden from my view.
-I wish the language on Bungie.next was a little better. I hate seeing the constant cursing. What was wrong with Blam!?

I somewhat agree with this. Because of the lax filter, the site has become a little less family friendly. Especially with the flaming and arguments in political and religious threads. I can't say I haven't participated in these threads or lost my cool for a moment, but I agree that on the whole allowing those to exist has not been an improvement.

I like the idea of a tag filter system.
