Off topic, but I like the idea of it being an "massive open world for the player to interact with, as well as stealing vehicles at various points." I hope we are able to steal Metal Gears or ones that are converted to be normal attack vehicles. So they don't have any nukes. So a Metal Gear version of the mechs in Mech Warrior or Assault.

far as im aware big boss had the only metal gears until REX.

Portable Ops is non-canon. BB in PW acts as though ZEKE is the first designated Metal Gear as does everyone else.

If we had that, multiplayer could be very very interesting. Hell they could even put in a few Z.O.E References

You're roaming around the country side in your jeep minding your own business and you see a huge ass dust cloud coming at you. You stop and look at it to notices it's not an ordinary dust cloud. The cloud is caused by every other player in Metal Gear REXs charging at you.

Suddenly, a huge tidal wave erupts from the sea and out jumps RAY.
