It was only a matter of time before greed got the best of Google. I miss the days where it was friendly, and was designed to be a utility.

I remember the days when Google used to be a non-profit organization, oh wait, it never was. You sound like it is a right to watch these videos for free.

I agree that we see plenty of adverts day in and day out, but, if this is a problem for you, then don't use their service.

This is the heart of the issue, isn't it? Either I stop using a service I enjoy, or endure the costs that come with it. ABP, in my mind, is a movement of sorts against the exploitation of the online market.

I remember when YouTube virtually had no adverts at all... It was a simpler time.
