What I don't get is why they say that, but they eat plants. Plants are also living things.

But, regardless, the argument vegans make is silly. As a living thing, our body must consume something else to replenish it's energy supply. Look at nature itself. Everything consumes something, and that systems works out pretty well doesn't it? Don't get me wrong, eat what you like, but don't go wandering around claiming that meat is murder. What I do agree with however, is how our meat is treated beforehand. I'd figure, if I were raising a critter just to kill it for food, I'd try to at least give it a decent time while it was around.

Other people's veganism or vegetarianism isn't about you.

Yeah well plants do not look miserable before they're killed, and plants don't feel pain.(correct me if I am wrong)
