Considering that the comic book industry has basically made him out as God with a weakness to plot devices? -blam!-, the image you linked is basically proving that the writers are engaged in a giant -blam!-ed up game of one up manship.
To answer your original question: Yes.
Should is another question. And should he? No. Dent a couple inches of steel? Yes.

Edited by Madman Mordo: 3/13/2013 6:29:43 PMHe is in no way a God. Read a couple of JLA comics. He's maybe the 3rd or 4th most powerful on the team, overall kind of average in the DC universe, and mid to low tier considering all comic book universes collectively.

In it, a friend of his tries to commit suicide in front of him by shooting himself in the head. Superman catches the bullet after it leaves the barrel and before it hits him in the head and returns to where he was, with almost no disturbance in the rest of the environment around him as a result of moving so fast. He is basically God. His only weakness is plot devices and whatever arbitrary designs the writer places on him for dramatic tension.

That isn't God worthy. Far from it. That's just standard Superman speed. Flash could react a whole lot faster I can assure you. [quote]He is basically God. As for Kryptonite, it depends on the writer. Sometimes it mildly irritates him, other times it would outright kill him if he's exposed for too long. It must also be noted that these weaknesses aren't the only methods that can kill him.

If you think lifting 200 Quintillion tons is bad, here this. He also bench pressed the planet, for 5 days continously, without sunlight
