The Serpent could. I'd imagine Superman could too, provided he had enough solar radiation in him.

Wasn't he kind of powered up due to the Worthy? Been a while since I read Fear Itself.
-
I haven't actually read it, I just saw a scan of it once. I know the shield's been broken a few other times, and for some reason it's always a big deal when it happens. You'd think after a while he'd stop saying it's indestructible.

Yeah well he was powered up. Although probably not to Superman's level. :/ These claims that Vibranium is strongest metal in the Marvelverse seem more and more implausible each day, given the evidence. Changing the OP to Adamantium.
-
Uh, adamantium is the less durable of the two. It was a failed attempt to try to recreate vibranium. (Last I checked, anyhow. Might have been retconned, since adamantium hasn't really been consistent aside from 'really strong metal'.)

Edited by Madman Mordo: 3/12/2013 8:43:45 PMI used to think that as well but I guess it was retconned. I'm looking this up now and apparently Vibranium absorbs kinetic shock better than Adamantium, but Adamantium is the more durable of the two. God knows where Uru metal stands. (See what I did there?)
