Not the current iteration really, maybe a more durable versatile third or fourth generation of the device, once it becomes common among multiple providers. That video is hilarious, but isnt filming and taking pictures in the public domain completely legal without the permission of others? Also i counted like four possible assaults in that vid.

Not legal if the person asks you to stop filming them and you do anyways. Laws protect privacy. And if you find that film funny how about i show up at your house at random and film you while i am beiing being a jack ass at your door. Didn't think so. While media get away with some stuff like taking pictures even they know what they can do. You are not the media.

You don't have to stop filming someone in public if they ask you to. Please stop talking about things you clearly have no understanding of. Even the supreme court said you can film police in public after they tried making it illegal. You have no expectation of privacy in public. You can film my house from the sidewalk, I didn't see this guy trespassing so your argument is an invalid and stupid one. If I'm in public? You have absolutely every right to film me and I wouldn't be a prick like the people in these videos. I'd smile and point at you and completely respect your RIGHT to film.

  • No actually, i dont think it matters if they ask, you are in the public domain, they can choose to move and go to a private place if they wish. Did you watch all the videos, lots of people said that, called the police, and then walked away, most likely because the police cant do anything. Now if it being used to make money, thats a different story. And what does, 'you are not the media' mean? Is that supposed to mean something, they film and take pictures for monetary profit, if you tell them no, they arent allowed to use it.
