So we should be nice because they're ignorant and they can't come to terms with reasonable and factual things? Plus it's not like we're singling out individuals to hate on just because they're religious(at least I'm not)

  • Denial is first stage to acceptance. What is an appropriate metaphor, SEEING AS WE JUST KILLED OFF AN ENTIRE IDEA OF HOW THE UNIVERSE WORKS!!!! And ignorant is such a misused word, being defined as a lack of knowledge on a particular subject, you didn't even specify what that subject is. And chances are, you are just as ignorant on as many subjects as they are.

  • Gay marriage? Evolution?
And chances are, you are just as ignorant on as many subjects as they are.
Like? Also I have no idea what the first part of your paragraph even means.

  • I think you blame religion for just general human dickary. Although, science could very well -blam!- over gays more than religion ever did. Humans are stubborn, sometimes to extremes. It's useful in certain circumstances, but in others, not so much. Seriously, how much do we know as a species? We're all slow close to zero in terms of knowledge of the universe that the difference between The Pope and Stephen Hawking is probably not even noticeable in the grand scheme of things. And guess what, you are no Stephen Hawking. Assuming you have an intelligence rating(just a scale I made up on the spot) of 1, the average religious person probably has a .9 repeating.

What causes someone to be gay, if they are born that way, then something must cause it. Can't be genetic, gays don't usually procreate. Guess what, not pro-creating is frowned upon for another reason, you stop your genetic line. So, what happens in 5 or so generations? Either gays are gone, or they're not. Then it's something else, it's no longer a genetic difference, like eye color. It's a genetic -blam!- up. So, how will it be interpreted then? Someone's going to say: Wait, I could use this knowledge to manipulate people "HEY EVERYONE, GUESS WHAT, BEING GAY IS A DISEASE, AND THEY SHOULD BE SHUNNED FROM SOCIETY" Then, some idiotic vocal minority believes this.

  • Homosexual males can use surrogates, and homosexual females can use sperm doners.

  • I'm not informed on the specifics of surrogate parenting. But, one of those men/women will be of no genetic relation to the child, no? If they still are, then how does it exist today? Surrogacy is a relatively new concept.
