If you've managed to get the enemy down to 0 substitions left then go straight to instant awakening and destroy them, remind to chakra dash so to increase the combo and not stop after attacking too much. When they get some substitions back up, exit awakening and use ranged attacks, if they slip up then go in for a kill. Also getting to know the characters helps, btw madara is probably the most OP so try using him.
