I've called him "Deege" and he responded. Hell, he even bought me beer. So if he's a stickler about his handle? He doesn't stress over it.

He's a pretty chill dude (makes me wonder what's in the pipe), and so he probably wouldn't correct anyone who made it a two syllable handle. He'd just smile patiently and have you hold still while someone fetches the tiger.
