Couldn't you also just tell because there username is going to be slightly different? Or do the forum changes now give you the ability to make a username the exactly the same as someone else's?

You can make your alias exactly the same as someone else's, but your unique user ID has to be different. Harlow and I both have usernames matching our user IDs.
