I have two monitors. They are different brands, sizes(1 inch difference), and everything and it is fine for me. The only thing that really bothers me is the different colors. One is much darker with deeper colors than the other. The don't line up perfectly either, but my setup is a little unorthodox. So if you are super picky about everything looking perfect, then get the EXACT same monitor. If not, it really doesn't matter.
