Most played and most sold Halo game to date. Not really a failure.

I'd love to know where you got this "most played Halo game to date" stat from.

Most sold? Maybe.. I don't have any stats on that though. Most played? None of my friends play the game anymore, and I stopped after a good two weeks.

About 3 months after launch, waypoint released the stats V.S Reach (the previously best selling and most played Halo). I'm not going to go back through it, but try a search on it. Also, your friends and you are not an indication of XBOX Live.
