Just to add my two cents, linking this bit to the Stone of Fal from Irish Myth (talked about in a few other articles), the Stone of Fal or the the "Stone of Destiny," actually, was one of four items held sacred in the mythological cycles of Ireland. The other three were a spear, a sword, and a cauldron.
Thought it was neat that Joyeuse (a sword) was forged with the holy lance (a spear). Now, where's the cauldron?

We don't have much to do on, but the sword could be Joyeuse/an AI and the stone could be the Traveller.

Edited by pwncak3z: 3/6/2013 5:57:05 AMIn Irish myth, the Stone of Fal (or Stone of Destiny) would cry out when touched by the one true king. No battle was ever won against the army, or man, wielding the spear. No one could escape, or resist the sword once unsheathed. And no company ever parted ways with the Cauldron unsatisfied. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dagda thats a link to the wikipedia link of the god associated with the cauldron. I've never played the marathon games so I dunno how it might connect with what you guys are saying but i figured i'd help lol EDIT: also, sometimes the word cauldron is correlated with the Holy Grail... though that's not quite the same religious playing field its still interesting haha
