Beautiful read, religious texts, regardless of religion usually fill me with much interest.

Mhm, it's kind of a sad tale, this one. How I wish that all religions would live on, rather than fade out periodically, replaced by either a new version, or something new. Bungie does a great deal for introducing classic tales & mythology, though. I hope we get a lot of that in Destiny.

Yeah it really is, it reminds me a lot of Donnie Darko (I'm kind of wondering how much it has of it in there). It would be nice it religions would hit a point when they stopped evolving, it kind of takes away from the whole credibility aspect. Although the meshing of old and new creates some pretty weird plotholes and split paths which can be awesome when taken advantage of in a story, one of the many things Bungie excels at. Me too, I think we'll be getting a massive amount of it.
