Titles: Do you still want them back?
Back in the days of halo.bungie.net I was quite enthused with titles, even though I was just a Noble Heroic Member. I was so sure I wanted titles back in the first days of the new website, but now I don't care anymore. Maybe if/when Bungie does re-introduce titles I'll be interested again, but if they never do then I honestly wouldn't mind.

Not a huge fan of forum only titles. If they are titles earned in Destiny that could apply, you bet, I'm all for that... as long as we can choose and have the option to be mysterious and turn them off as well.

7 RepliesAbsolutely. Tenure is important, more so to the new members of the community than the old members, but it does categorize us amongst each other. If there is anything the title system did well, it encouraged positive investment into a single account. If you wanted a "higher" title, you had to stay clean and active. With more means of investing into a single account now (followers, mutes/hides/, groups etc) adding another layer of investment (through titles), would encourage positive behavior even more.

Nope, the years on your side perfectly showcase your seniority, and it's something i can't lose because i wanted to post silly threads that day, and even if i lost them i didn't care,it's like losing a "i participated" ribbon, but it did suck having to wait 2+ years for validation of being a clean poster. Clean posting is boring regardless. I'm currently banned on two accounts. ( i know right, so edgy) TL:DR the years on the side are fine, they are simple yet showcase your tenure and its something the ninjas can't take away. I for one welcome the no ninja future of b.net.

I want my Mythic back. While it's nice that we have the years and the color when you click on our name. There is nothing like good old bars of colors.

I'm not entirely sure how well that will transfer over. But it's worth a shot. Only this time we need "Grizzled Ancient" as a title.

Titles were nice but with a new direction, comes change. Maybe not a welcomed one at first, but when the newness wears off, I'm sure most people will be just fine with the new system.
