My parents shouldn't have to pay for other peoples healthcare when our own healthcare is so damn high. If someone has cancer in your family, you shouldn't have to pay for others

You're already paying for other peoples healthcare if you have health insurance. If you truly don't want to pay for other peoples medical expenses then go without health insurance and pay for everything out of pocket.
-
And think...why is it so high?
-
My moms cancer treatment cost thousands of dollars and they are still paying it off
-
And so you are saying socalised is bad because you'll be paying for others while paying for yourself? But, with socialised you won't be paying thousands for the cancer treatment
-
Your an idiot if you think there is "free" healthcare. Learn 2 economics
-
Well duh, obviously I meant through taxes it is payed. But I don't have to fork out thousands upon thousands like you have to if a family member gets cancer. Also *you're
-
It's not "free". However, the amount you'd pay in socialised healthcare is FAR less than what you'd pay now for the same treatment. Higher taxes, sure. But still way less than in our current Private system.
-
And if someone can't afford healthcare, since it is so goddamn expensive?

The middle class shouldn't be paying for it nor should the wealthy.
-
It's k kiki, I'll still help pay for your healthcare when you have cancer. :)
-
But they are paying for it. They're paying the most in the world for an inefficient system purely because people like you find the idea of paying into a collective fund, even if it would save them thousands of dollars a year, to be abhorrent.

That makes absolutely zero sense.
