This does not improve my faith in the slightest. I have poor faith in humanity as a whole, not a single human.

I hate moody bastards like you. All of you don't realise that there is more good than bad, you just think the actions of few mean everyone is like that.
-
It shows good is out there. And that one person can create a big effect.
-
There is always good out there, but only 1 in 100 will do what is right. The number of humans doing good pales against the number doing evil. We all need to change, not just a few of us.
-
Where are you getting these statistics?
-
I don't need to have statistics, it is the human condition. If you don't believe me take a look at all the shit we're doing. For every tree an ecologist plants, ten are burned down in hack & slash farming. For every animal rehabilitated, four are shot/poached or downright tortured. Of course those statistics aren't accurate by any means, but it doesn't take a genius to realise there is so much more bad in this world than good. We have the ability within us to change that, to become something truly great. But we don't, we worry about petty squabbles and being better than everyone else. That is why I have no faith in humanity.
-
Even admitting that humanity has the ability to make great and selfless acts, you still say you have no faith in humanity ? I don't think you understand the idea of faith.
-
The 'human condition' is a product of influence. Such is virtually established by the concept's own name" IE: condition = conditioning. You cannot rationally blame humanity as if it has some inherent evil nature so much as you can blame the influence of the evil nature that already exists in this world.
-
Humanity is better off now than it was back in the 1800's. That means the people are getting better. It's been a continuing trend in the Western World for a few hundred years now. The world is getting better as a result of the people getting better. We "worry" about petty squabbles because the media blows things out of proportion. It's not actually that bad.
-
We are more technologically advanced, and as an individual human you are better off but that is all. We still wage wars, pollute the environment, pursue our own interests at the cost of others. We are nothing but animals in fancy clothes with fancy shelters.

You put a negative twist on everything. I could sit here and try to explain to you the logic gaps in your thinking, but it would ultimately be a waste of my time. The fact of the matter is you're flat out wrong. The world is in a much better place in recent years. So are the people. The video in the OP was just meant to show that good exists in the world. Good day sir.
