[quote]My friends and I had to constantly keep players within the same level or two just so we could enjoy playing together.

You and your friends just need to have a character that you only play as when you all play together. Its what I did with my buddies way back on Diablo 2.

Edited by GOMER7: 2/18/2013 7:40:40 PMI understand a way around that, but I am hopeful that I won't have to do this for Destiny. I want to invest time in a specific character and play through the game with that character. I currently have 4 characters 3/4 way through Borderlands 2 because I never wanted to get too far ahead of my friends in fear that I would ruin gameplay or be too advanced to play with them. Bungie has said over and over that they want the game to be social at its core, so I hope they make good on that promise by allowing people in all places of life to play together without having to be perfectly careful with issues like this. This will be especially true as they continue to add DLC and more versions of the game. I imagine it will play much like others where your character builds on itself and is used in the next version of the game. If this is the case, there will be serious concern as to how this will remain "accessible to all".

That really has no relevance to his main point though.

Same here, me and my friends often start again every so often so that we have a full party of the same level.
