The 6th is a Sunday, the 16th is a Wednesday. neither of those days are the day it's being released.

It's always a Tuesday, except in special occasions, one being 11.11.11, when Skyrim was released. Now, 11.12.13 is a TUESDAY, if they wanted it to be released then, it's still a Tuesday. Special date and on a Tuesday.. works.

Out of curiosity, do you know have any idea why major releases are always on Tuesdays? I've never been able to figure it out.

Actually, I think it has to do with how sales are recorded. They record the weekly sales starting on Tueday, ending on Monday. If you want your game to look successful, give it the maximum amount of time possible.

Something with shipping I heard. So, it ships out and arrives usually on the Monday, so they sell on the Tuesday. (Correct me if I'm wrong anyone)
