but are there any distinctly positive messages in most good metalcore bands or is it mostly failed relationships? (oh and just so you remember, i do listen to bands like behemoth, skeletonwitch, goatwhore and deicide aswell...so it's hard to call me biased towards this christian metalcore genre)

actually, they do have positive messages, you jsut aren't paying attention.
