I don't see the issue here even if Gamestop shuts down there are other ways to get games. Also not being able to use used games really only affects poor people.

What do you mean? I have never had an issue buying new games and really I can only see it as an issue if you are poor. Also buying new games helps support the company making the game.

Because the only reason that they might do this is because when you buy a used game none of that money goes to the developer. This move is just to screw everyone over and get more money.

Thing is I don't see the issue with that. All that means is you need to be more careful when buying games. If anything it is a good thing since it helps weed out developers that make shit games.

How so? There is only one negative I can see from this and that will only affect those down the line in which case isn't my problem.
