Your opinion on China?
How do you feel that it will be the largest economy and knock off the good'o USA number one mentality? What's your overall opinion on the country? My Econ teacher is going to talk about China and all that economic stuff all this week. Just curious what you guys think.

Personally, I don't really care that they're going to knock us off the top, actually. When it comes down to it, size isn't the only indicator of economic health and integrity. There are a variety of other indicators, such as GDP per capita, that can shine a light on the standard of living within a particular country. I really don't like China, they cost us a trillion dollars per year in economic damages.

I don't know what the implications are of it becoming a larger economy, but I don't care about being #1 just for the sake of being #1. I'm sure there are good things to say about the society and politics and whatnot, but we tend to hear the worst of it here, whether it's censorship or corruption.
