They can track you anyway just by having your phone turned on.

But there used to be anonymity with skype. Not since microsoft bought it.

Unfortunately there is no such things as anonymity on the internet, like at all. Although i will admit it was a littlle more private before they got it, although i still like skype, it's a great way to keep in contact. Besides i have nothing to hide so they can track me all they like.

Just becasue you have nothing to hide doesn't mean that the government should have the right to stalk you.

I agree, although i am fairly used to it now. I mean the UK has i think i read 20% of the worlds CCTV, and if you walk through london on a normal day you get caught on over a thousand cctv. The governement should only use this stuff to catch criminals, but the fact it is there doesn't worry me. At least here i'm not at threat from a predator strike.
