The sixth episode was by far my favorite, it was really the only one that had anything to do with the actual storyline of the episodes(if episode 6 is the one where you go back on board the Infinity to defend it). The rest were just sending you on random missions to save this science team, help these marines, etc.
If they want to make the rest of the episodes as interesting they need to put more effort into making the missions actually connect to the story rather than just, run here push this button, now run back to the other end of the map and push this button.

I completely agree. Six was the one where you started off being captured... I don't even remember that happening. But yeah the disconnect between you and the rest of the story is really bad, except for episode 7, which is the one you were describing.

I'm actually really glad you said that, I don't think it did happen (the being captured), I think they just started the episode off with you captured and no explanation for it. It's mind boggling really, they market it as a kind of second campaign but the levels have no connection to the story at all.

Don't get me wrong, fighting your way to freedom was actually quite thrilling, but dammit if it had nothing to do with anything! Oh well, at least they have a ton of new maps and stuff now, so they're actually extending out the campaign properly in the new season.
