Mendicant Bias is dead, his final act was sending John to Requiem at the end of Halo 3 before the Ark and Installation 04B was destroyed.
I wonder whether the Absolute Record is on Requiem or elsewhere... In the first mission of this chapter, the Librarian speaks on the com at the end saying that that's where the Sentinels are going. I hope the Precursors get mentioned by name the next time they're brought up, that's twice now Librarian has said humanity must prepare but she's yet to actually say WHY.

His death wasn't confirmed although I don't see how he could have survived the destruction of the Ark.

Please look at the date of that post... It was before Silentium and Rebirth came out, the latter of which heavily implies that Mendicant Bias IS the Absolute Record. Also, the Ark was not destroyed.

I read The Lord of Admiral's (user) post with the transcript in it... Maybe I'm a Dummkopf, but I don't remember anything about the Absolute Record in that.

I'm 95% sure the Absolute Record is the artifact they brought to Infinity in episode 2.

I don't think it is. There hasn't been any indication that it contains information, it's part of a teleportation network that can act as a slipspace anchor and spawn in Knights. The Absolute Record is a location, Librarian's Sentinels went there at the end of the first mission of Episode 9 and it looks like Jul is also on his way there (as he seemingly knew about the Janus Key in Episode 4).

It is interesting as to what our next great threat may be. The Didact definitely showed us that we are not ready for an enemy with the powers he had.

That or the Flood is returning. We don't yet know what became of Bornstellar-Didact, or the Librarian between the Array's activation and her final years on Earth.

Current evidence heavily implies that after firing the Halos, the Bornstellar-Didact led the surviving Forerunners on the Great Journey - an exodus outside the galaxy to find the Precursors. I'm wondering how Chakas fits into all of this, as he sets off to find the Librarian in the UNSC Rubicon after discovering her location. But I get the impression that we're moving away from Requiem, as "Requiem's time is at an end". The Absolute Record, provided its not on Requiem, sounds like our next location.

Wait, wasn't the Librarian dead as of Halo 3 Terminals? Pretty sure I read somewhere she whiled away her final years on Earth. Not that it matters, but how do you know the ship in Primordium is called the Rubicon? I clearly didn't listen well enough, because I forgot/didn't hear what the Absolute Record is. All Forerunner artefacts in the galaxy?

Librarian's physical form seems to have been destroyed on Earth upon the firing of the Halos, but she lives on as an AI on Requiem. The Eleventh Hour reports released in the Waypoint bulletins leading up to Halo 4 revealed that the ship Chakas stole was called the UNSC Rubicon. The Absolute Record is a catalogue of every piece of Forerunner technology in the galaxy with their locations shown in real-time, but it requires the Janus Key to be unlocked.

Yeah, bringing the key to the Absolute Record I guess displays all Forerunner artifacts or something of the sort.
