It is a part of one larger constellation known as the [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azure_Dragon]Azure Dragon[/url] which has to do with the number 7. Known for their affinity for the number 7, Bungie may be making this connection. The Azure Dragon's connect to seven moon phases, which could be important. Moreover, the Azure Dragon is one of four guardian spirits that is to defend a city. The Monday Geomancy symbol, Populus, is connected to the Moon. I've already noted the connection between the Dead Orbit Bungie Day symbol and the finalized poem with a moon like object rotating around a sphere. Could be nothing, or it could all be very connected.
