There is definitely skill involved. I just listen to the Motley Fool and make money that way.

If skill is involved then why do day traders lose money. Holding onto stocks is an easy way to make money as the market always increases over time. I'm talking about day trading.

I didn't see the word "day" nor "daily" in your entire post. :P I assume there's still skill involved in day trading. I can't think of anyone who does day trading though.
