True, I wonder if they're caching some data and the next time that the cache is updated, that it will take into consideration your new followed tag scheme.

I've logged out and back in many times (against my will), because Bungie no longer allows you to stay logged in for extended periods of time. I haven't cleared my cache, but I don't see how that would affect anythng.

Your login cookie should last 24 hours before you are signed out. Are you getting it before then?

I did not know about the logging period. But yeah, did a quick test on this issue. I'm guessing that to cut down on loading time for your activity feed, they are doing some server side caching. Depending upon the caching interval, it may take sometime to reflect the change in your followed tags.
