I miss when the movies were actually about racing, not just action thrown in everywhere.
The last proper one was Tokyo Drift.

Yeah I do miss the racing, even if everything they say in the movies is wrong. The first one will always be my favorite.

Agreed, but I still like the story line of the new ones.

The only thing that pissed me off about Fast 5 was that they went out to win some fast cars from street races, but they didn't show the races. It wasn't even a deleted scene. That's just wrong. That'd be like if they didn't show the tag team race in 2 Fast 2 Furious (even if that ricer vs. muscle race was stupid, it was still important to the plot).

I said the exact same thing! I was sitting there in the theater opening night like "well, i got excited for know reason." I really wanted to see his charger whoop the Porsche's -blam!-
