Well, that's also assuming that Sony doesn't do the same thing with their already [url=http://www.gamespot.com/news/sony-patents-tech-to-block-used-games-6401992]applied for patent last month[/url]. They have it, but no one knows if [url=http://www.freepatentsonline.com/y2013/0007892.html]they're implementing it.[/url]

True. I guess we'll have to wait until the 20th to find out. But with the direction Microsoft is taking the Xbox (high focus on the 'Media Hub' side of things + ad central) this might be the last thing that helps me decide on what console I'm going to invest in next gen. Hopefully Microsoft goes back to their roots, but it doesn't seem to be the case. I still don't know why Microsoft is investing in Kinect and Blu-ray.

That's pretty worrying too. But it can be countered with Jack Tretton (CEO of SCEA) calling the idea "stupid". So I don't know what to think.
