The parents are taking this waaayy to extreme. 1. Perhaps they should be looking at what entertainment their child is getting 2. Some kids experiment even though they dont know what it is 3. It isnt damaging unless the parents want it to be damaging 4. They should be thanking their god taht it wasnt an adult doing it.

  • Took this semi-seriously until you mentioned religion. No religous discussion thank you.

  • What? The article even mentions "premises of the First Lutheran Church." Assuming the family is religous and assuming not everyone here is I decided to be fair. Plus "Thanking god" is more of a saying then a literal meaning today.

  • How can it be a saying then a literally meaning?

Ever hear a atheist say "I swear to god"? Or how about a agnostic saying "I thank god" or "Jesus" after whapping their foot. Or "ima gonna kill you SOB" It has become a saying. Some mean it literally but in most counts it is just a person reciting it blindly because their parents have said it and it seems to fit the situation. I "thank god" my parents are going to get here on time is a saying. If you cant understand that then I "pray to god" you can wipe your own ass.
