And the total abandonment of all prior forum content ... years of work - just gone. And replace by .... nothing, conversations about nothing.

 • Basically in read-only mode ... and accessible via non-direct links (ie no navigation/search of old content). Abandoned of the internet kerbside. And the new conversation model does not lend itself to focused discussions ... basically nothing more than random rants. Only up-side being that we are no longer subjected to the "wrong forum" comments.

 • This serves as your Christmas and birthday present. Your point on the conversation model is open to opinion. I personally think it works very well, because someone could make a point in a comment to OP, and subsequent replies discussing that point are all chronologically ordered underneath.

 • But it is like a present that cannot be unwrapped ... frozen in a point in time - Jan 8, 2013. All a waste ... decaying like a source on unappreciated value. I suspect that bungie knew that if the bungie.better sitehad been left alive bungie.net would never have survived more than a week before all interest was lost.
