A small suggestion - 'new tab' links

It seems to be whenever you click a link in a post/thread it takes you too that site using the same tab, therefore taking you away from B.net. Its a bit annoying having to hit the back button and reloading the page when you want to get back to the thread, especially if the linked site requires clicking more links. The old b.net would open a new tab for you (unless posting another b.net page I think) and it was quite handy. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the new linking system (warning you before opening the link) but I think opening links with a new tab is a better system and would be easier for folk if it returned.

  • Strange, I find that any time I click a link in any post, a new tab is opened automatically, and the B.net one remains on the page. Perhaps it's to do with the browser you use? I'm using Google Chrome.

    • I always click links with the middle mouse button out of habit, but yeah, opening links in a new tab would definitely be a better default behavior.

    • +1. Opening links in a new tab would be superior.
