Halo 3 "Steam copy" rumor debunked.

1 ReplyI'd like to seem Halo 3 on PC. However, this seems farfetched because if it was available on PC via Steam, who would do the port? Not 343i that's for sure; they're too busy supporting Halo 4. It also doesn't make much sense financially because they should have released Halo 3 on PC (with multi-player support) a few years ago when there was still potential to make profit. Besides who would provide the matchmaking support if it does come out. Very few people would buy it for PC if there is no multiplayer support.

I would certainly buy it, even for $60. It would defiantly make up for the shutting down of the Halo 2 Vista servers.

It actually makes a lot of sense. I mean, think about it. We know that a new Halo title isn't coming out this year, and that the new Xbox is highly likely to. Putting the original Halo trilogy on Steam would make up for the lack of a Halo title this year as so many people would flock to buy it on Steam. Virtually everyone who's heard the news is dying to get Halo 3 on the PC. It would be a massive hit.

2 RepliesAlso the problem is that knowing M$ they might make it windows 8 only like halo 2 vista did with vista only. If they make it like that many will not bother buying it unless they have windows 8. I've also heard windows 8 hasn't been selling well so there is a high possibility this will happen. If it does bye bye halo 3 pc. Nice knowing ya! However if they make it available on xp, vista, 7 and 8! Now that is not only attracting a wider audience but is also making more MONEYZZZZZZZZZZZ! It better be a good port like halo ce pc. It should also have a custom edition to mod on and IT MUST BE A GOOD PORT TO PROSPER LIKE HALO CE AND IF ITS A BAD PORT IT WILL I REPEAT IT WILL DIE AFTER MONTHS!!!!!!!
